This intermediate recorded demo presents the integration of Fault Analyzer, File Manager and Debug Tool Utilities in a debugging scenario that leverages all three tools to debug a legacy application using Rational Developer for z to provide an Eclipse front end to streamline the various tasks.

The COBOL demo shows how to edit COBOL/DB2 program that used copybooks and calls another one, Local Syntax checking, Create executable and run, Debug local program.

The PL/I demo shows how to edit PL/I-DB2, Local Syntax checking, Create executable and run, Debug local program.

Shows how to do the following:

1. Use BMS map editor, generate JCL in z/OS, Translate on local machine.
2. Using local machine build a COBOL/CICS/BMS client program and install BMS map and COBOL program on TXSeries.
3. Using local machine build COBOL/CICS/DB2 program and install on TXSeries.
4. Execute programs using local TXSeries.
5. Debug COBOL Client and Server programs running under TXSeries.

1. Execute z/OS DB2 query to an existing table
2. Using this table as model, generate COBOL/DB2 programs and assets to deploy CICS Services on z/OS.
3. Show programs generated: Create, Replace, Update, Delete (CRUD) and List table elements.
4. Show JCL, CICS Resources Definitions and WSBIND generated
5. Test one of the CICS Service created (List) using the WSDL generated and the Web Services Test Client.
